Wealth isn't waiting for the right moment

I drive through the forest. The sun falls between the trees and hits the grass in a way that makes the whole ground look like a golden, soft sea.
Mmmm, I think. I want to sit there. Feel the grass. Be right in the middle of it. And then I drive on.
That thought could have stayed there, a small longing that blinks past and disappears in the rearview mirror. It usually does. We see something beautiful, feel the pull in the body, and continue the journey we were already in the middle of.
But this time I allow myself to walk out into the golden grass. Sit down right in the middle of it. Let it stand tall around me, feel it against my hands.

That's where the wealth is. Not in having time one day. Not in planning the beautiful for later. The wealth is the experience itself, when it actually gets to take place in the body instead of just passing through the thought.
I often think I should do things. I should stop. I should feel into it. I should take it in. And so often it stays right there, should.
This time I just do it (and quickly set up the camera).
No plan. No right moment waiting to become right enough. Just listening to the impulse, and a few steps out into the grass.
Acting on my excitement is what this is about. Not collecting experiences to one day be rich in life. The wealth is already here, in every moment that gets to be fully lived instead of just thought.
The grass is there all the time. What changes is that I actually step into it, and shift my frequency.
